The Dublin city government
The City of Dublin provides a quality of life that is unmatched throughout Central Ohio. Evidence of the cityís hard work and attention to detail is found in the January 2004 edition of Money magazine, which named Dublin one of the "hottest" cities in the country.
Dublin was one of 87 cities from across the nation mentioned in the article and was chosen based on local real estate prices, cultural and recreational offerings, and local median income. Money magazine looked specifically at communities with above-average population growth, income and home prices. It is no surprise that our innovative community would be at the top of the list of places people really want to live.
The City of Dublin is proud to continue providing quality services to its residents and corporate neighbors and looks forward to continuing this quality in 2005. We remain poised for a future rich in intelligent land use, controlled growth, prudent fiscal planning and forward-thinking, progressive technological advances, such as the Wi-Fi (wireless fidelity) system set to begin construction in the spring of 2005.
Wi-Fi will enable anyone with a computer and a wireless card to go online no matter where they are. The impact of wireless capabilities will have a broad significance for the City of Dublin. Not only will we be one of the pioneers in creating a citywide hot spot, but the technology also will enable us to better serve residents and our corporate community.
The City of Dublin is committed to investing in programs and services that create opportunities for businesses to succeed. Residents and corporate citizens can be confident that city officials will continue to provide the vision, leadership and performance standards that make Dublin an exceptional community in which to live and work.
